It have been responsible for leading the shift from product – Oriented Organisations, to make flexible and responsive market-Oriented operations, where success depends on sensing and responding to rapidly changing Customer needs. Porter (1985) Oganisations that can contribute for the value chain of products and services, by either improving their cost position or product differentiation. We can see that the significance of this is a reshaping of competitiveness and the consequent strategic implications for Organisational prosperity.
